2nd Club shore competition.
      On Saturday 24th January this competition was cancelled due to high winds and rain.  Safety comes first.
1st Club shore competition the results were sent in by Roland Blomfield.
      On Sunday 21st December the club held its 1st club shore competition which was the Solent & New Forest Christmas Rover.  The weather was good at the  start just chilly but dry.  However, towards the end of the day the rain came in.  18 club members signed on and 12 weighed in fish consisting of pouting, whiting, bass, dogfish and small eyed ray.  On the club shore competitions under size fish count for points which were bass and smooth-hound.  A total of 46 fish were caught, weighed and released back into the sea as quickly as possible for a total weight of 50 lbs 15-7/8 oz.  Best round fish of the day was a small eyed ray weighing 7 lb 12-1/8 oz caught by Paul Watson.  Top junior on the day was Seth Hopkins with a bass of2 lb 8 oz.
