What's being caught from the boats and where.

21st November.

Niel Mitchener was fishing on his boat by the Needles and caught 2 cod with the largest weighing 25lbs 8ozs. Fishing with him was Alister Hulme ho caught 2 bass and 1 cod, the largest bass weighing 7lb 12ozs.
12th November.  
PhilipBowditch was out fishing with Barry Littlefair aboard his boat Lympet on a shingles mark and caught a pouting weighing 2lb 12.25ozs. Also fishing on a shingles mark aboard his boat Solent was Robert Flicos who caught 25 pouting and the largest weighing 2lb.
1st October.  
Colin Pankhurst fishing the Western Solent caught 2 superb sole weighing in at 2lb 10.5ozs and 3lb 11.25ozs which breaks the Lymington & District S.F.C's boat record. Well done Colin.
24th September.
Robert Flicos fishing 3 miles south of the Needles aboard his boat Solent Angler caught a superb specimen bass weighing 10lbs 5.5ozs. {See Good Fish Pictures}
24th August.  
Mike Mapes was out fishing with Robert Flicos aboard his boat Solent Angler when Mike caught a undulate ray weighing 13lbs 3ozs which was returned alive. Robert caught 6 black bream the largest being 1lb 11.5ozs.
20th August.  
Joe Chamberlain 15 years old was fishing in Lymington river caught a thick lipped mullet weighing 3lb 4.5ozs which breaks the Lymington & Districts S.F.C's junior boat record. Well done Joe.
